Abstract

In this study, the investigators completed a randomized controlled trial of 76 middle-aged and older adults with chronic schizophrenia who were assigned to either treatment as usual or treatment as usual plus a cognitive behavioral social skills training group (CBT + social skills) to assess whether CBT + social skills would lead to an improvement in social functioning.
