Abstract

Every effort was made to create a book that would be readable and understandable for persons who do not have a science background. However, reading a book such as this tweaks one’s natural curiosity. This section tries to satisfy this curiosity by addressing some of the basic mechanisms that drive the cellular process. It also addresses the calculators that have been developed to estimate kidney function. The implementation of these calculators is ongoing.
