Imitation Market Modeling in Digital Economy: Game Theoretic Approaches (ISC 2020)

Abstract

The modern insurance market is characterized by an active spread of digitalization. The use of digital technologies leads to a reduction in the operating cycle due to the expansion of functions for analysis and data processing. Digitalization processes are accompanied by the emergence of new insurance products and services, as a result, the infrastructure develops, and new principles of communication with customers and partners appear. There is a process of development of new business models, which directly depends on the perception of new technologies by consumers.

The purpose of this study is to consider the main trends in the digitalization of the Russian insurance market and also to substantiate the practical significance of the introduction of modern digital technologies.

The objectives of the study are to determine the main directions for the development of digital technologies in the Russian insurance market.

The main results of the study are obtained based on the application of statistical, monographic methods, the method of scientific abstraction, economic analysis, and sample observation.

This study makes it possible to identify the main directions of digitalization of the insurance market, to evaluate the practical aspects of using digital services to do business and organize economic activities. The digitalization of the insurance market also allows simplifying all processes of interaction between the consumer and the insurance company: from choosing and issuing a policy to the moment of receiving compensation for an insured event. The use of modern information and communication technologies in the insurance market makes the search and application of new models for organizing business processes, management, and ways of interacting with customers more important.
