Abstract

Innovation processes are considered as processes that permeate all scientific, technical, production, marketing activities of manufacturers and, ultimately, are focused on meeting market needs. The purpose of this article is to study the process of designing a service and developing innovative services at a service enterprise. The author gives an example of designing the provision of services in the field of international transportation by the airline «International airport Nizhny Novgorod» JSC. Nizhny Novgorod airport is one of the oldest airports in the country. The need to introduce innovations has been identified. In the process of researching the use of innovative services, a survey was conducted to assess the effectiveness of the proposed innovative activities. The author analyzed the proposed innovative services that should increase the efficiency of the company. The author describes the advantages and disadvantages of the applied innovative technologies in airport services as a result of the research.

It was found that the need for innovation is stimulated by competition and a number of other market requirements. The types and stages of design were also reviewed and studied. All proposed innovations will be effective from both the economic and the social perspective.
