Abstract

Self-storage warehousing is an increasingly developing market in which individuals or businesses can reserve storage space over certain horizons. In the current market place, platforms such as 99acers, magicbricks enable you to buy or rent properties such as houses, warehouses, plots etc. When it comes to warehouses/storage spaces, there is usually a purchase option or a long term lease involved. But, what if we want to rent a small storage space for a short period of time? It would be better if there was a platform where one can find and rent a warehouse/storage space to put our belongings away securely until someone need it in the near future. This gap in the market inspired us to come up “Book My Space”. Book My Space is aimed towards consumers who are looking for a secure storage space for a limited period of time. This application also enables the warehouses/godown owners to advertise their storage area, manage their space and provide invoices.
