Abstract

Prominent or protruding ears are a common congenital anomaly. Congenital in nature, they are source of ridicule in school-aged children by their peers. Surgical correction of protruding ears can be predictably treated for children prior to entering grade school, avoiding the “bullying” and associated emotional trauma.
