Abstract
Sometimes even stable, asymptomatic lesions can be insidious. Here we present an 8 year old girl with small dimple with a tuft of hair in the center located on the median line of the nose. An MRI was prescribed to exclude a cranial dysraphism. A diagnosis of a dermoid fistula with intracranial extension was made. Subsequently neurosurgeons were contacted for the correction of the defect.
