Abstract

Infantile hemangiomas are the most common benign soft tissue tumor of infancy and childhood. Although most infantile hemangiomas are small, innocuous, self-resolving, and require no treatment, a high-risk infantile hemangioma can pose a problem thus systemic treatment should be considered to prevent more serious complications. Oral propranolol is a systemic drug of choice in high risk infantile hemangiomas because of its good efficacy and availability. Here we present a 2-month-old girl with infantile hemangioma that treated with oral propranolol for 6 months and showed good progression of the therapy.
