Abstract
The object of research is the components of complex feed additives, namely the antioxidant dihydroquercetin, the blue-green algae Spirulina (Spirulina platensis) and organic iodine, in various combinations used in feeding pigs during fattening and before slaughter. The experiment was conducted in LLC “Myasoagroprom”, Krasnoyarsk district, Samara region, on a cross-breed pig population obtained by crossing a large white breed (brood stock) with Landrace and Duroc breeds (boars). According to the principle of analogues, three groups of pigs were formed, one control and two experimental. Pigs of the first experimental group received a feed supplement consisting of Spirulina −3 mg, dihydroquercetin −1.5 mg, organic iodine-1.5 mg per 1 kg of live weight per day to the general diet; pigs of the second experimental group received a feed supplement consisting of Spirulina −3 mg and dihydroquercetin −1.5 mg per 1 kg of live weight per day to the main diet. During the experiment, blood samples were taken from five heads in each group, which were examined by the Department of Physiology and Biochemistry of Farm Animals of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution “Federal Research Center for Animal Husbandry-VIZ named after Academician L. K. Ernst”. The use of dihydroquercetin, blue-green algae Spirulina and organic iodine in various combinations in pig feeding contributed to the correction of metabolic processes, increased pathogenetic resistance, adaptive ability of the body and increased product yield.
