Abstract

Purpose: The given article is aimed at identifying and assessing the possibilities of effective management of the company’s workforce in the post-industrial economy, taking into account the specific features of the perception of economic values by representatives of different generations. Design/Methodology/Approach: To implement the tasks of effective management of human capital of the company it is necessary: to identify specific features of perception of economic values by representatives of economically active generations, which contribute (or hinder) the achievement of the company’s goals; to highlight the specifics of corporate behavior of representatives of each of the considered generations; to develop a set of motivational measures aimed at retaining and professional growth in the organization of representatives of different generations, which will ultimately contribute to improving the efficiency of the company’s management. Findings: Recommendations have been developed for modern companies on the use of personnel management differentiated from the point of view of the theory of generations of recruitment and placement programs, strategies for retaining qualified specialists, motivation and control systems. The results of the research can be implemented in management practice in order to improve the effectiveness of innovative transformations at the company level. Originality/Value: The main contribution of the given research is to shift the focus to conceptualization and inclusion in modern management of innovative aspects of the application of the theory of generations.
