Abstract

Faster development and manufacture of novel specialized equipment is what helps better automate auxiliary operations in the process of a facility. One auxiliary process that is in high demand is the removal of process-related impurities from part surfaces. Computer-assisted design and small-batch manufacture of special units for this purpose is a high priority for small enterprises in mechanical engineering. Competitive advantages and faster marketing of new products are enabled by more flexible management, which in turn is facilitated by administrative shortcuts and quick changeover in case of changing the product lineup. Digital imaging is a manifestation of virtual production chains comprising small enterprises. Digital platforms bring together the entire process documentation, all the processes, and component-specific auxiliaries to create a single information space that follows a uniform set of rules; this is what enables teamwork. An advanced production process makes labor more attractive and productive while also improving the workers’ professional skills
