Abstract

There are a variety of sleep questionnaires focusing on symptoms and diseases, each one aiming a specific target, such as sleepiness, the risk for apnea, sensations in the legs, severity of insomnia and sleep routine, for example. The aim of this chapter is to fulfill the PTs with subjective asessment tools that they can use in clinical practice. Here we present some questionnaires that can be held in treatment managing, such as general sleep quality, as Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index, or disease-specific, as Epworth Sleepiness Scale, Insomnia Severity Scale, Stop-Bang questionnaire, Narcolepsy Severity Scale, Restless Legs Syndrome rating scale for severity, Morningness and Eveningness Questionnaire, Sleep Assessment Instrument for Older Person with Pain, and Sleep Diary.
