Abstract
This chapter focuses on the relationship between individual and collective development and how to support this development in transformative learning communities. We describe the I/We model, a framework that arose out of sixteen years of practice and research on how individuals and collectives grow and develop over time. We give examples of practices that support individual/collective development and thereby support the development of MetAware-informed Subtle collectives. The chapter concludes with a description of the implications for creatively and generatively navigating the complex challenges that we face as a human family.
