Abstract

This chapter will review osteochondral lesions of the ankle. The anatomic characteristics of the lesions of both the talus and tibial plafond will be identified and reviewed. After exploring the anatomic aspects we will integrate and introduce treatment modalities utilized in care of the patients. This will include techniques of the procedures and published outcomes. This chapter aims to provide the reader with a concise yet thorough view into pathology and treatment of osteochondral injuries of the ankle.
