Artnatomy for Advanced Body Contouring and Aesthetic Balance Between Breast and Body

  • Chapter
Plastic and Aesthetic Regenerative Surgery and Fat Grafting

Abstract

Patients have sought different aesthetic outcomes over time; due to current standards of beauty, surgeons have been pushed to design procedures in order to improve the original liposuction’s techniques. High-definition liposculpture is one of those breaking improvements that allowed plastic surgeons to achieve unique athletic, slim, and natural results. The technique is based on the artistic point of view of the human body, by defining its underlying anatomic structures through selective fat removal and grafting. Technologic devices also aid to control different variables that may affect the outcomes, by improving skin retraction, decreasing bruising incidence, and removing fibrosis at the best extent possible. In addition, new dynamic concepts and difference between the muscles and zones that permit different grades of muscular definition are the latest pioneering approaches that have resulted in the best outcomes.
