Abstract

The purpose of the work was to identify the best procedures for monitoring the elimination of deficiencies in control procedures, and it is necessary to develop a mechanism for collecting and processing information so that data can be used for strategic analysis in the future. In addition, it was necessary to give strategic novelty to the control function of management, and in the practical plane to improve the information architecture of an economic subject in such a way that:

  • to monitor changes in a timely manner to maintain an optimal management structure of medium and large scale enterprises;

  • timely recording of changes in the main factors affecting the effectiveness of various control measures;

  • to create on time non-hierarchical coordination structures of the economic entity on the basis of: projects, groups of performers, adhocracy, self-organizing groups and virtual networks;

  • adjust existing strategic planning systems based on financial indicators and summarize information indicating that the existing monitoring system needs to be modified to improve its effectiveness;

  • to improve the methodology for monitoring the elimination of deficiencies in control procedures.

The research used analysis and synthesis of the obtained information on the subject, decomposition into separate elements of the control system of the economic subject in order to objectively monitor development trends, methods of combining, etc., and then combining the previously identified elements into a whole to determine significant connections and relationships. Free and formalized interviewing of workers was carried out; a research experiment was conducted. The organizational structure of the governing bodies was modelled and the internal control system was adapted. As a result, it was possible to identify ways of improving the monitoring system to address deficiencies in control procedures so that the essential information required for strategic analysis and subsequent planning of activities can be collected, compiled and presented for subsequent use by those responsible for making relevant management decisions. The formalization of the results made it possible to propose a methodology for improving the monitoring mechanism to address deficiencies in control procedures.
