Abstract

Electronic health records (EHR) are a critical component of clinical care delivery; however, the EHR often contributes to provider burnout and creates dissatisfaction among clinicians. The relationship that a provider establishes with an EHR will be critical in minimizing these effects. By embracing this technology and leveraging the advanced tools of a given EHR system, providers can actually streamline their workflow and reduce their documentation burden by putting in the time to learn about these systems.
