Orthopedic Surgical Oncology For Bone Tumors

Abstract

We describe the case of a 9-years year-old boys affected by an osteosarcoma of the left distal femur without epiphyseal involvement. Distal femur was resected trying to preserve its growth plate and then reconstructed using an autoplastic vascular fibula autograft in association with an allograft shell and a stabilization with plates and screws. Several different procedures were done to compensate limb length discrepancy.
