Abstract

Virtual Reality (VR) have been shown to be effective instruments for teaching students, particularly in some disciplines such as Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields that need more learners’ engagement as an immersive, whole-body interactive simulation with environment components for experiments, this will affect students’ interactions and conceptual understanding. In this article, we focus on the effects of the using of VR on learning Biology and Medicine courses. The paper summarizes the outcomes of some related articles; it presents a comparison between some methods that are used to support the educational process. Furthermore, it discusses some challenges of the use of VR in different fields of education.
