Abstract

The use of sustainable energy systems is being adopted by governments for reasons such as ever-increasing climate change issues, energy supply security concerns, and an enhancement in energy consumption. The ratio of green production to installed power is rising day by day. As a result of this, modern power systems are also undergoing a great change.

Some steps need to be taken to maximize the decarbonization of the electricity sector, thanks to the growing integration of renewable energy sources into the production mix. One of the key steps is the development and digitization of network infrastructure with a stable and predictable regulatory framework.

Traditionally, electricity is transmitted from central power plants to the grid, and flows one-way to users in the residential, commercial, industrial, and transportation sectors.

Digitalization, which develops with the distributed energy system, accelerates the transition to a versatile change. However, renewable energy is distributed, controlled independently, and done intermittently. Therefore, various complex scenarios such as smart grids, monitoring systems, storage solutions arise when combining power grids with clean energy systems.

This study will be shaped by information about sectoral analyzes by examining the current problems and alternative solutions encountered in the integration of renewable energy sources.
