Abstract
The Paired Associated Stimulation (PAS) protocol has been probed to successfully induce motor cortico-spinal plasticity. However, there is not an official consensus for the optimal Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) intensity in PAS applications. The aim of this pilot study is to research the implication of intensity factor during the plasticity induction by PAS in later excitability assessment through each measurable intensity (90, 100, 110, 120 and 130% of the rMT). The results point to a conditioning of the intensity on the Motor Evoked Potentials (MEPs) towards a polarized outcome between high and low frequencies. Regardless, a complete research would be necessary to determine the impact extent of the PAS intensity factor.
