Abstract

The state of food and water security in the Central Asian region is analyzed. The perspective directions and potential opportunities on achievement of water and food security for the countries of the upper and lower reaches of Transboundary Rivers of the region are shown. The necessity for development and implementation of water-saving technologies of irrigation and selection high productive agricultural crops is pointed.
