Abstract
This paper focus on improving productivity in a shoe production workshop in Bonssa using the tools of Lean Manufacturing. The factors that affect the productivity of the company have been evaluated, such as recent delays in order delivery, disturbances and unrest in the workplace and difficult working hours. The production processes and their implications were recognized. Balance of lines, 5’S and design were applied for a better distribution in the factory, having as results, the reduction of delivery time from 12.6 days to 5.9 days, The reduction of the added value from 27.516 to 23.14 min, 30% of Saving time searching for models, reducing machine operating time by 70%, improving communication with employees, a pleasant and safe work environment.
