Abstract

The probability of accidents in oil and gas pipeline systems for one reason or another and oil spills into the environment increases during operation. This is mainly due to the corrosion of the pipe metal and technological and construction defects. Recent studies show that internal corrosion factors play a greater role in the failure of pipelines.

In the article internal and external corrosion factors were investigated, and corrosion risks were evaluated. Based on the examination of internal and external corrosion factors and fuzzy assessment of corrosion risks, it was determined that the internal corrosion risks are higher. The authors noted that this is mainly due to the multiphase flow inside the pipe
