Abstract

A 61-year-old woman presented with a seven-month history of recurrent right epistaxis and increasing nasal obstruction. A nasal endoscopy revealed a fleshy right nasal poly. CT and MRI scans of the paranasal sinuses were requested. A diagnostic nasal endoscopy and biopsy under general anaesthesia confirmed the lesion to be a sino-nasal undifferentiated carcinoma. The patient underwent endoscopic excision and postoperaive radiotherapy. She remains free of disease 7 years after treatment.
