Abstract
Social entrepreneurship is presented as a concept under construction, however with theoretical characteristics, own methodological and strategic, indicating differences between a traditional social management and entrepreneurial. The study aims to conduct a literature mapping on the number of scientific articles published in the last ten years on the topics of social entrepreneurship in conjunction with social innovation. The methodology research in databases “Scopus”, on which you enter filters that selecionassem productions. In the studies, we found that in the last ten years, from 2009 the volume of publications will be expanding. The areas that are working the issue with greater emphasis is to business with the highest number of publications. Os vehicles in which there were more published on the subject are: Espacios, the International Journal, and Of Entrepreneurship And Small Business, Journal of Technology Transfer and others with fewer. The authors who worked with the subject are: first with the most publications Ratten and, second comes the Horwitch authors, Mullooth, Nijkamp, Wagner. The theme approach demonstrates a growing interest in the subject given the increase in publications, but also the need to advance research in expanding the understanding of the social context.
