Abstract

Understanding meniscus anatomy is a key to success for meniscus surgical treatment. The focus of this chapter is to discuss the medial and lateral meniscus anatomy, including detailed description of its ligaments and connections to the femur, tibia, and fibula. This knowledge is essential while suturing or transplanting meniscus.
