Abstract
The digital disruption impacts genders unequally. No matter where they are in the world, women are less likely to be online. They are more likely to have low or no digital skills. And they are persistently under-represented among IT professionals, despite booming demand for and uptake of jobs with these profiles. The present report suggests KPIs to measure participation of girls and women in the digital economy and highlights best practices to better ensure inclusive digital transformation.
