Abstract

Well electric centrifugal pumps are multistage and multi-sectional structures with a significant vibrational activity. The vibration level of the pumps is one of the main factors determining their reliability and resource. The main type of vibration is the forced oscillation due to imbalanced working wheels. A technique is proposed for reducing the vibrational activity of pumps due to imbalance of rotating rotors, based on the principle of determining the location of working wheels on the shaft axis, which is quasi-optimal from the point of view of structure dynamics. The calculation method and selective assembly of the pump rotor can be successfully used to reduce the level of vibration in the rotor–stator system of submersible pumps. On the basis of the proposed approach, the actions to reduce the harmful effects of dynamic forces do not need special expensive balancing equipment. Selective assembly of pump rotors is less labor content than other ways of controlling the vibration of well oil pumps.
