Abstract
Natural law refers to a moral (legal and political) theory that considers human behavior should follow and comply with the nature of human beings and the nature of the world such that they are objectively and universally determined. Although it does not refer to the law of nature (which falls within the realm of sciences—not morality), such a distinction has not always been pertinent throughout history.
