Abstract

UML Statechart can not only accurately and completely describe the behavior of a software system, but also show the functionality of the system. Therefore, UML Statechart is an important object for UML model checking. This paper studies the method of UML Statechart checking based on explicit model checking. The reason why it is necessary to establish a model checking method based on explicit model checking [2] is that UML Statechart is sequential. In order to facilitate checking, the complex UML Statechart is first transformed into a hierarchical automaton [1] to make its structure clear and easy to check. The method of checking studied in this paper is to use Kripke [3] structure when describing hierarchical automata [1], use temporal logic when describing the properties of the system and mark the state. To determine whether each state can match the corresponding property, those states that do not match would give the sequence of states that do not match, and then optimize on the basis.
