Abstract
This chapter illustrates the most common neonatal and pediatric surgical conditions evaluated by the pediatric radiologist. Clinical vignettes are presented and the relevant imaging modalities are discussed to reflect on the surgical – radiologic correlation of each condition. The chapter ranges from cases of neonates and infants with chest masses and intestinal obstruction, to emergency cases of children with acute abdominal pain or malignancies.
