Abstract
On July 1st, 2019, Shanghai officially launched a series of institutional arrangements related to garbage classification. According to statistics, the proportion of participation is less than 20%. The choice of garbage classification in Shanghai has become an obligation that must be performed, which is an inevitable result of the development of society. Therefore, this study aims to improve the Shanghai municipal waste service system from the perspective of user experience. The design of the thesis consists of the following three steps:
(1) Investigate current municipal waste services. (2) Develop a model for urban waste services through service system design methods. (3) Tools for service system design include accompanying observations, questionnaire surveys, personas, stakeholder maps and other practices for the design of urban waste service systems. This design considers the optimization of urban waste systems with a service design method, which has certain reference significance for urban development and sustainable development.
