Abstract

Among people looking to rejuvenate and improve their face condition, neck and jawline improvement is particularly significant. In other words, both the surgeon and the patients themselves are aware of the impact of a youthful and beautiful neck on the appearance of the whole face. The neck lift is a set of cosmetic procedures including removal of excess skin and liposuction for removal of excess fat around jawline, removal or alteration of neck muscles, injections to adjust the problems associated with fullness or bands and to remove excess fat under the chin. The set of these actions will result in the development of a more defined and youthful-looking neck. However, it should be noted that despite the fact that the outcomes can be long-lasting, neck lift surgery cannot impede the aging process. In addition to pointing out the important considerations, indications, and factors that should be taken into account, in this chapter, we try to address the latest trends in neck lift procedures.
