Abstract
Stress urinary incontinence (SUI) in women is common and often considered a normal part of the aging process by patients. Advance practice providers (APP) are increasingly caring for this difficult patient population, due to their need for chronic and episodic management. This chapter discusses evaluation and treatment of mild to severe SUI, including behavioral therapy and eventual surgical intervention.
