Abstract
Given the anamnestic data (invasive melanoma previously removed from the lower leg) in this patient, every newly developed cutaneous lesion should be examined with caution, but dermatoscopy enables us to immediately diagnose disease progression (cutaneous metastasis) based on several dermatoscopic criteria in this pink (non-pigmented) papule, including shiny white lines, tortuous vessels, and a couple of purple clods containing irregular vessels.
