Abstract

The intelligent interconnection with the group of internet enabled devices is termed as the Internet of Things [IoT]. IoT has enhanced and deployed into diverse varieties of smart city applications such as smart homes, smart traffic, smart grids, smart healthcare etc. Smart city is also an application of Internet of Things [IoT] and is defined as a designation given to a city to implement advanced technology and upgraded lifestyle. This paper aims to discuss about the importance of Internet of Things [IoT] in smart city development.
