The research, in which 207 respondents took part, shows that over 90% of stakeholders believe that a university needs a social responsibility strategy. Further conclusions result from detailed analyzes that were carried out in 4 areas: internal relations, external relations, research and education. In the area of internal relations, it was considered crucial to respect the rights of students and conduct a continuous dialogue with employees, students and other stakeholders. In external relations attention was paid to three aspects: building relationships with business, adherence to ethical standards in dealing with the environment, and building relationships with other universities. In the case of research, attention was paid to observing ethics and extending the research area to issues related to sustainable development. On the other hand, in the area of education, the necessity to ensure a high level, while adapting it to the needs of the market, was emphasized.
