Abstract

Chest wall deformities are uncommon in the pediatric population. The majority of which are cosmetic, and therefore surgical correction is to improve the patient’s body image. Rare abnormalities, such as Jeune’s syndrome and sternal clefts, have clinical consequences for the patient.
