Abstract

The article shows the urgency of the problem of automation of design of technological processes of manufacturing of cylindrical gears, the possible ways of its solution are considered, the methods of designing the processes of manufacturing of cylindrical gears on the basis of modeling the processes of formation and changes in the parameters of quality of gears at different stages of their manufacture are proposed, the various stages of implementation of these techniques (the choice of routes of processing teeth and base surfaces of gears, the choice of requirements for accuracy and quality of surfaces of teeth and base surfaces of gears at different stages of their processing, the choice of modes of gear cutting by worm cutters) are considered, shows the need for experimental debugging of the designed process and methods of such debugging at different stages of the design process. Implementation of the proposed methods and recommendations with the help of computer technology will automate the design and debugging processes of manufacturing of cylindrical gears, improve the quality of design and gears, as the proposed methods allow to take into account the maximum conditions of manufacture of gears and appropriateness of formation of their quality parameters.
