Abstract
The use of medical lasers in the healthcare setting requires organizations to carefully assess and provide a safe environment for patients and healthcare professionals. To maintain a safe environment, personnel must be aware of hazards when using laser systems. Facility laser programs need to incorporate safety control measures.
