Abstract

This chapter describes the acquisition parameters for bone SPECT/CT of the spine. The recommendations of the European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM) practice guidelines are summarized, and more detailed parameters are provided for the illustrations used in this section. The role and pitfalls of the recently introduced metal artifact reduction (MAR) algorithms are illustrated.
