Abstract
Comparison of real-time ICD electrograms during VT to that of stored arrhythmia events may be helpful in distinguishing “clinical” spontaneous arrhythmia from other induced “non-clinical” VTs. Abnormal local potentials recorded within the scar (LAVA, LP) reflect anisotropic slow conduction and may correlate with sites within the reentrant circuit. Substrate mapping focuses on LAVA or LP facilitates mapping and improves ablation outcomes.
