Abstract
This chapter reviews the relevant microanatomy and physiology of pulmonary lobules. Specific pathologic terms are defined and discussed. Different types of pathologic presentations and types of nodules are discussed, including the importance of size and location within the lung. Differential causes for common parenchymal lung diseases are discussed.
