Epithelioid Hemangioendothelioma

  • Chapter
  • First Online:
Rare Sarcomas

Abstract

This chapter summarizes the best of knowledge about pathological features, clinical and radiological presentation and outcome of both children and adult epithelioid hemangioendothelioma (EHE). Most of EHE display an indolent course in the initial part of their natural history. However, there is no consensus on treatment in case of progressive and symptomatic EHE. International efforts are urgently needed to improve the management of this very rare disease.
