Rapid On-site Evaluation (ROSE)

Abstract

This chapter outlines practical approaches for rapid on-site assessment during fine needle aspiration of pancreatic lesions. Solid and cystic pancreatic lesions should be approached differently in terms of aspiration specimen triage. It also provides cytomorphologic features and diagnostic pitfalls of commonly encountered pancreatic lesions.
