Abstract

Idiopathic histaminergic angioedema is responsive to antihistamines

Acquired angioedema often occurs above the age of 40

C1-inhibitor concentrates are either nano-filtered derivatives of plasma, available as Berinert and Cinryz, or recombinant products such as Ruconest
