Abstract
Dermatologic emergencies are rare but can be severe and life threatening when they occur. This chapter will provide a reference guide to the acute manifestations and management of Stevens-Johnson Syndrome (SJS), Toxic-Epidermal Necrolysis (TEN), Drug Reaction with Eosinophilia and Systemic Symptoms (DRESS), Necrotizing Fasciitis, Staphylococcal Scalded Skin Syndrome (SSSS) and skin necrosis and blindness from cosmetic filler procedures.
