Abstract

Asian blepharoplasty is a popular aesthetic procedure worldwide that requires attention to patient expectations, in addition to anatomical familiarity and technique expertise. Depending on the patient’s aesthetic goals and their preexisting anatomical features, surgical attention should be directed toward the placement of the eyelid crease, the amount of skin excision and fat contouring, and the need for epicanthoplasty. Clear communications between patient and surgeon before and after the procedure are critical to achieving the desired surgical result.
