Abstract
The article presents the results of the authors’ research, the subject of which are the issues of building innovative clusters in the digital economy. The first stage of research work, which is dedicated to identifying the factors affecting the performance of digital economy innovative clusters is described in the paper. Authors revealed that the new institutional environment introduces significant changes in investments, innovations and political priorities of countries, and their changing nature reinforces the risk of humanity’s dependence on digital technologies.
The dynamics of key indicators of the new digital economy shows that we suffer the times of cardinal transformations, and with the development of electronics and digital communication channels, the world entered the trajectory of accelerated exponential growth because digital flows have become responsible for GDP growth and determine the future landscape of the countries. We become aware of the fact that the government should assume predictable terms and the formation of digital trust in the new conditions; they will also play a decisive role in creating a reliable development of the digital environment and in forming a responsible attitude of users to key institutions and organizations. This issue is of great interest to all participants in the digital economy, and given the best practices for the development of high-tech companies in the world, the global experience of their cluster development is of particular research interest. The authors believe that this study offers a valuable perspective on how innovation clusters can influence the digital transformation of countries in the face of new growth.
